How can I get a job in investigating white-tailed deer?

I'm looking at future races and universities, and what I really want do field research is the white-tailed deer (hunting equipment business? deer ranch management? write books?) How do I get into this? There is a school with specific classes or something? any info would be great!

If you want to do research, you want to get a degree in biology, zoology, biology or wildlife. There are plenty of universities offering the curriculum you are looking for. Unless you find just one, probably will not do much with the deer until the graduate school. But on the positive side, because the deer are of economic importance (the angle of hunting they do more damage when populations get out of control) generally are research funds for studies on deer. What is your grade bio? And take all the math classes you can. Bio research is heavy on statistics.
