Mosin Nagant for hunting white-tailed?

I know that 7.62×54 will work for hunting of deer in Michigan, but my question is what the bullet should be used? I do not need to reload the best hunting round I could find. Another thing, I know that all rifles are different, but are you getting good groups of 100 yards with nagants Mosin?

Ethan-I have one of these rifles I use for my rifle Boar. I changed out the rise and bought the B-Square Scope Mount Scout Midway, and a range of BSA Scout also purchased from Midway. As for ammunition, use of the tool and Die Barnaul 203 grain soft Point. It has been very effective for Boar. Note, however, the scope of Scout facility is not the best for long distance applications (ranges over 200 yards), but its very effective for anything below that range. Basically I do not trust my own skills with this particular rifle, nothing more. I hope that helps out. Much luck!
