turkey hunting shotgun

What would be the best pump shotgun for deer hunting (using slugs) and defense (using injection)?

Am looking for an affordable 12 gauge shotgun for multiple applications, home defense and hunting deer and turkey. I want to use slugs for deer hunting, but I know slugs would not be a reasonable defense ammunition home. What should I look to buy?
