How do I confront my landlord to reconsider the sale of 200 acres of forests to be leveled on a golf course?

A few weeks ago my dad told me we were going to have to move in a year. our landlord, though a great guy he is, also has a bit of a streak of greed in him that rules on their decisions about everything. I've known for a few months now that he has been bombarded with offers for his land and was now in the great sum which shall not see again in my life. I do not argue because I have no platform to start, but I'm afraid that the trees will be level. we have wild dogs, coyotes, turkeys, deer, elk, cougars and our property and is one of the few private properties themselves, in the Black Hills that has been well maintained and has a strict law for not smoking or hunting on the premises. Yet we national forest behind the property and most every day I hear gunshots and motor vehicles echo through the trees. our 200 acres which we live is a haven for wildlife, set safely away from the city. should not be wasted on a golf course.

Trying to find out if there are any rate environment and / or coalition of wildlife in their community. Most of these organizations have volunteer lawyers (or access to lawyers working pro bono) who are willing to try to fight to preserve the land. Contact the EPA and even the Conservation of Nature too. Generally, an environmental impact study should be done in these projects to find out what impact will a golf course in a community … etc. water pollution potential is a pity that you may not know if there are endangered or threatened animal / fish speices of this property … that could help save Earth from destruction.
