The way we live in the north in the 50, s, no televisions, elecrticity no, no running water.
Life was great and fun. We had a lot of friends and lots to do. We were busy every day.
My dog race in 1958. We were allowed no more than six dogs and a race against the clock. and what a race it was.
My first trip to the hunting of moose in northern Quebec. How long it took before we got our first moose, but it sure was worth it. It is also a good 50 more elk hunting trips.
My first seal hunt and the first time I ate the seal meat. It was excellent.
At the age of 12 that has guided my first fishing trip. The two fishermen went to Toronto and not sure if it would get on board the canoe after to tell us with 17 miles of rapids to get on.
Stories about my dog Blacky especially a dog that I sold 3 times.
Fishing began at the age of seven years with the line and hook worm, excellent catches.
My hunting trips for caribou fall and winter, and as a guide at the age of 60 years. Excellent location in northern Quebec and Labrador.
Great places to fish for lake trout in Schefferville, paradise for hunting and fishing.
