Http://www.ohiodnr.com/wildlife/dow/regulations/exemptions.aspx taken from the landlords, spouses and children – Are not required to have a hunting license, hair taker permit, deer permit, deer horns permit, spring or fall turkey permit or Ohio Wetland Habitat stamp when hunting or trapping on land they own. Partners or shareholders of a corporation or LLC is not considered as owners of land and have to buy all licenses and permits. So since my father owns the land to live and I am his son, (I live there, but he owns with his brothers, I can rent from him) I am able to hunt and trap on the land without a hunting license as long as i follow the rules of the season and right rules? They just want to make sure.
