moose hunting usa

I want to make a hunting trip to the U.S.?
I'm from AUS and contemplate the possibility of a hunting trip to the U.S. and want to know where and when is the best place to go for elk and other animals (most animals with horns or antlers) that are not in aus and wanted website on laws to C if u can take his own gun and assemblies bring about PS I do not really like deer and pigs / pig hunting as I do that in aus
I can only speak for Maine and New Hampshire in the northeastern U.S. Both states have similar deer hunting laws. The moose hunting permits are issued by a lottery. Most permits going residents. A certain percentage is reserved for non-residents. I do not know if they are reserved for foreigners, or if you would be in the same pool as citizens nonresidents. You are not required to hire a guide in any of those states, but I suggest that. A guide with local knowledge will increase your chances of shooting a moose. Some other game you might want to check out are hunting elk in Rocky Mountain states and Alaska, big game. Http: / / www.wildlife http://www.maine.gov/ifw/laws_rules/hunting_trapping/hunt_traplaws.htm. state.nh.us / hunting / hunting_rules.htm Spend some time on these websites. Most states along the US-Canada have moose. Most of the Rocky Mountain states and west are elk. I do not know the laws and hunting seasons in those states. If you search "hunting laws Montana or other states you will find what you are looking for. I think you can bring your own firearm. There is no law against to make their mounts, but check their own laws on the importation of something.
