michigan bear hunting laws

What is more lethal to 30 meters, a crossbow or a compound bow?
In high school I bow hunted a lot, had two black bears, and many deer. Now that I'm older and I am giving up motocross back to it. Michigan changed the laws and now you can hunt with a crossbow. What is more lethal?
Both are equally lethal if shot placement is accurate, neither more nor less than the other. Now if you're talking about ease of use and accuracy then you probably be inclined to spring fatigue as there is no chain holding back for a perfect shot. You can mount scopes or red dots on leaf springs with an accuracy considerable. The limbs are horizontal which allows rests on a solid object. If all you factor in the equation then the crossbow is far superior to a standard arc, because it takes a lot of variables in the equation of accuracy. Just to avoid confusion, you can hunt with a crossbow if you get permission from the account of incapacity DNR. (Additional: Cholsin Thanks, I checked the regs and find the section on cross-bow hunting during rifle season and is legal.) Hunting good call good and good luck
