Your views on trophy hunters?

Well there hasn’t been a question in the hunting section about hunting for a while and I got bored.. (:

What are your views towards trophy hunters, the ones you see on tv with a mounted head on every wall in their multi-million dollar mansion.
I, personally don’t like like them. Ok, so maybe im a little jealous, but I believe in hunting for meat and population control(especially for hogs, huge hog population down here in Fl) 1st, and maybe saving the pelt and head, but no biggie if I don’t get them as I know my butcher will like a good pelt for his kids.
Thats a good fact cfelonius. Without the trophy hunters, many people will loose jobs. Lets hope they at least savage the meat. Watched a show where they just let the meat rot. It seems stupid to not even savage meat, hey maybe the millionaire trophy hunter can make some pocket change off the meat.

I thought you meant Trophy Wives……….darn it.

Trophy Hunters are nothing more than poachers and bottom feeders. No Ethical hunter does that.

Think about it……..if you kill off all the big rack bucks…….you have screwed yourself. The gene pool for good deer stock is now gone.
