i got a mossburg 500 tactical is this even legal to hunt with if i get a magazine plug for it?

if i get i magazine plug for it to hold just three rounds is it legal to hunt with. here the details its gotta 18.5 inch barrel an its a 12 gauge and need i say again i’ll be getting a magazine plug for it i dont want to know what shot guns work betteri prefer the remington 870 but i dont have one i may hunt deer or turkeys or ducks and geese. i just dont know if theres a restriction because of the stock on mine or if the barrel is to short for hunting but if its just the barrels to short i’ll buy a longer one

Not a problem. You might get away with the short barrel shooting slugs at deer, but if you’re going to hunt birds get a new long barrel (26+ inches) with an adjustable choke. The short barrel you have is a modified choke, which means the shot spreads quickly coming out the barrel making it worthless for distance shots at flying bird shots that can go close to 50 yards in distance. Then it’s just a matter of using the right shot size. Have fun out there.
