Pennsylvania Elk Hunt??
My dad Was lucky enough to draw a cow tag for this years Elk hunt in Pa The Hunt is for Elk habitat area 9 If any one knows where the best place to hunt in this area please give me some direction
lol, well I doubt anyone will divulge too much info on a hot spot, but here is are some good tips to help you find the best spot. Do some early scouting and watch the elk, they often feed and travel in wide circles returning near a common place every 7-10 days as long as nothing is spooking them. Look for good fresh sign and try to connect it with something like a watering hole, abundant food ect… position yourself in an area of heavy travel that the elk are likely to use every couple of days if not daily. Elk hunting is a sport of patience, do your home work and you will be eating good. Happy hunting.
