I was wondering if anyone in Colorado had won a season Elk Rifle. I had my very first moose in my first hunting rifle time! My grandfather had shot a bull and 30 seconds later on his way to see a bear, moose and killed him! Then, about 2 minutes. after he shot his death, my dad and I shot a cow and calf (I have the calf) who had been with the bull. So we filled four labels opening morning, 8:30! The next day my uncle shot a calf. We were blessed as well! The next day we got home and we butchered the moose the bear. Say we have a ton of meat now. I wold like all of every body elses stories. We were hunting in Pagosa Springs.

Friends guided me, but the work was done by yours truly. I just finished 20 pounds of dried beef jerky. Firing of the loins of this weekend with a pair friends. Again, great hunt.
