I think im going to do some dove hunting….sometime anyways….

Im going to buy some decoys and a call from cabelas… Will that help some?

It is a heck of a lot of fun and a really challenging sport. Those little suckers can fly fast and are erratic. it takes a good shooter to bring home a bag limit of doves.

I can tell you how to fix them in a way that is delicious. Split the breast and put half a seeded jalapeno in it and close it up around the jalapeno. No, it won’t be too hot. Then you wrap a piece of bacon around the breast and pin it in place with a toothpick. When you have all of the breasts ready, put them in a zip lock bag and pour in enough Italian salad dressing (whatever your favorite brand is) to cover the breasts. Let them marinade in the refrigerator over night. The next day, you grill them. Preferably over a charcoal fire but a gas grill will work, too. They are absolutely delicious!
