deer hunting missouri

I want to live in the wilderness for a month, suggestions please!?

I live in Missouri right now and am planning on taking a hiatus from life and simply living alone in the woods for a good month. I am in need of some information:

1. What is the best way to find/prepare/eat food and water.
2. What areas in Missouri and Arkansas would be best to live in? They would need to be areas free of most other people, and that would allow me to hunt.
3. What type of rifle would I need to hunt the type of animals in the area? (I’m thinking a .223 would be a good caliber that could kill up to a deer).
4. Is there any sort of GPS device that I could trigger if I ran into trouble (broke my leg, etc.) and rescue would be able to find me?
5. Where could I buy a used, reliable, semi-automatic rifle that is fairly inexpensive? And, what sort of things do I need to do to legally use the weapon in the wild?
