357mag best ammunition for deer hunting?
Well, I just finally find a stainless Marlin 0357 Lever Action magnetic. I've been looking for one for years. Anyway, my question … I'm in Indiana, where we can now review 0,357 deer. If you were me, what brand / weight bullets used for deer? I've been thinking that since deer are thin skinned, business, 125gr JHP than normal could be the way forward as it is often considered like personal best. protection of human thought? Thanks guys!
Fellow Hoosier, I'd recommend anyone new LeveRevolution Hornady .357 magnum or Hornady 158gr JHP / XTP ammunition. While I have used 125gr BJHP a gun to be a deer in the past. Do not let anyone tell you you can not do. My current round whte tail game, however, is a hand loaded 180gr Hornady JHP / XTP. The truth is that shot placement is more important than bullet weight. Stick to a load that requires you to keep your rifle and shooting with their ability to make them. You have less than two months to install and ready sighted in.
