The hunting season so far?

Anyone been hunting yet. I just got back from a hunting of bears and we have nothing. We saw a nice stand 300 lbs and is about 400 meters by the train tracks. I set up, looks through the scope, although outside my safety. I was using a 7mm real mag. Just as I was about to pull the trigger your puppy out of the bush, then 2 more came out. I decided to let go. That puppies grow up, I thought it was a good thing to do. I know that 400 yards is a long shot but there was no way I could be closer, and then I was more comfortable there. I had my real 7mm mag, 160 grain accubonds, topped with 3-12x, 42mm scope with BDC reticle. It was a good bear, but I let it go. We saw no other bear hole time. 2 weeks before we arrived, a lot of American children came and Michigan were more than 15 bears. Lucky them. We took a lot of fish, saw a moose very nice shot some grouse, so I had a good time. I just got to wait and wait for deer season and coyotes do better
