Beginner game?

I want to join the hunt. What do I have to do. tell me everything. I pheasent hunting, turkey and duck. I live in Kansas and I'm close turn 16.

First you need to pass the safety course because of hunters under 18 years of age. It takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks a class per week for at least that is what is in Oregon. When you pass the safety course you need hunters to get a hunting license. After that you need labels for birds that are going to shoot and labels will have a limit on how many birds can be killed. Not exceed the limit because it is against the law and can never hunt again. After that you need to buy a shotgun, if you will continue with the birds that use a 12ga. but if a beginner you may want to use a 22ga. just try and see which one feels better. Now you have to practice shooting and work on pidgins skeet shooting, clay discs flying through the air. If you do not practice shot you do not kill anything. I recommend having a hunting dog that could not imagine hunting birds with one out. Get the proper hunting gear, invite your friends and go hunting!
