Is legal to hunt in Texas with an Eotech sight?
I would like to know please, I am mounting one on top of my AR-10 rifle this coming deer season. Thanks.
Yes technically it is legal because it does not project the red dot onto the target itself like a laser sight would. The only place the red dot appears is in the sight aperture itself. However I would not recommend it unless you were at very close range or had a magnifier on it, due to the fact that the EOTECH was designed for close quarter combat.
