Welcome to Turkey Toe Tri Events

Turkey Toe Tri Events is a collection of friends who are passionate about providing the Alaska multisport community with the highest quality events possible.

We have a combined 24 years of professional experience promoting multi-sport events. We put the sport of triathlon back on the map in Alaska. We are athletes, and we’ve competed in World and National championships. Our professional events are highly organized, and participation in our events has grown every year.

Andy Duenow
Andy is a two-time champion of the Hammerman Triathlon. He has completed triathlons of every distance from sprint to Ironman and has competed in National and World multisport championships. When not racing, Andy devotes substantial time the the Alaska Triathlon club. He is a founding member and current president.

Becky McKee
Becky has traveled Outside to many triathlons and competes in both off-road and traditional triathlons. A competitive age-group athlete, Becky balances heavy loads of training with a full-time job all while running her own Alaskan adventure company, Xtremely Alaska. In addition, she is also a founding member and board member of the Alaska Triathlon Club.

Jens Beck
Jens has twice participated in the Ironman World Triathlon Championships and is a threat to win pretty much any multisport event he enters. With impressive results at prestigious events outside of Alaska, Jens is one of the top age-group athletes in the United States.

Sheryl Mohwinkel-Fleming
Sheryl has competed in National championships for both swimming and cycling. In addition to many top finishes at local triathlons, Sheryl won the inaugural Vineman Aquathon in 2005. A top local cyclist, Sheryl has also competed in the grueling Susitna 100 ultra-distance race.

Bill Fleming
Bill has competed in many local triathlons. He has completed everything from sprint to Ironman races and has competed in the USAT National Championships. He is co-owner of Chain Reaction Cycles.
